Christmas Decorations 2012

It’s December!!!  How is it already December??
Time is going way too fast lately, isn’t it?

We finally finished up our Christmas decorations and I wanted to share with all of you.  Enjoy!

The fireplace and mantle:

We decided to do a “Kid Tree” this year and the kids absolutely love it!  All of their special ornaments are on it, along with some candy canes.

It is so great to see all of our treasured ornaments together on a little tree.  We will definitely continue this tradition.

The regular tree is in the living room, as usual.
We still have a fake tree because our dog would eat a real tree and get sick 😉
One of these days, I will learn how to properly photograph a Christmas tree.  I have no idea what settings to put my camera on.  Any suggestions?

Here are some of the various decorations scattered throughout the downstairs:

And….
the outside!

I love our red door during this time of year!

Garrett thinks I am crazy, but see how that one wreath is crooked? It is driving me up the wall and I will not rest until it is fixed.

All lit up!
I am trying to convince Garrett to put lights up at the top of the house too.  He said “Maybe next year.”
We shall see..

Do you have your house all decorated yet?
If so, when do you take it all down?  Right after Christmas?  New Year’s Day?  Summer time?

    Beautiful home!

I just finished decorating. I did it a little later than I typically do. I usually have it done the weekend after Thanksgiving. I will most likely take it down in between Christmas and New Years day.
