The Nelia Dress: Popolok Designs Pattern Testing

I recently had the pleasure of pattern testing for Popolok Designs!  Last time I tested for her, it was the lovely
Nova Top and Cece Top.  Beautiful, classic patterns.

The Nelia Dress is no exception.

The Nelia Dress has SO many options:
collar, no collar, long sleeves, short sleeves, no sleeves, shirt, dress, maxi dress, tie collar….. seriously, endless amounts of options.   I love that you get so many different patterns for the price of one!
I chose to do sleeveless, dress length, and peter pan collar
I did modify my dress a bit.  (not that there was ANYTHING wrong with her pattern, trust me!!!)
I added piping to the peter pan collar, I made the skirt a full skirt without buttons, and I did a wide band at the bottom instead of the ruffle.   I also made the bodice fully lined.

The pattern is so professionally written!
I definitely plan to make more and I can’t wait to do it in the other variations.  My next dress will be nautical themed!

I took Ainsley outside to get pictures and she couldn’t wait to run around and play
And just some cute indoor photos of my sweetie pie:)

So sweet, and love the vintage feel to the design. Plus, I’m amazed by your fabric pairings!

That dress is the PERFECT shade of pink. I love the peter pan collar.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that
I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me.
I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
