If it seems like I have been doing lots of pattern testing lately, you would be correct. I am nearing the end of my list, though!
Just recently, I tested another pattern for Peek-A-Boo Pattern Shop called the Cutie Pie Ruffle Pants, Capris, and Shorts.
Let me tell you… this was a SUPER easy pattern to sew up. I made 3 pairs in under 2 hours (would have been less if my kids didn’t need attending to 🙂
The pattern calls for either cotton wovens OR knit. I chose to make all of mine out of knit fabric, just because I LOVE knits.
One pair of ruffle capris
Remember that fabric from a Rainbow Jacket I made? Sadly, it is no longer made and this was the last of my stash… I shed a tear.
Luckily, these capris will grow with her and hopefully get lots of use. They are so comfy and perfect for summer time.
I also sewed up two pairs of the shorts.
I made the first pair a little longer than called for so she could use them during the spring time as well. I used leftover fabric from when I tested the Hangout Hoodie Dress
For the last pair, I used leftover fabric from when I made Ainsley’s Week 2 outfit for Project Run and Play

Knits scare me. I honestly avoid them at all costs. You did a fantastic job on these. The rainbow colored one is definitely my favorite. 🙂
