Randomness About Ethan
I figured it has been a while since I told everyone what Ethan has been up to, so here it is!
Ethan is just a little over 16 months (I can’t believe it!) and he weighs about 23 pounds and is 32 inches tall. He wears a size 5.5-6 shoe and he is mostly in 12-18 month/18-24 month clothing. He walks like a champ and is getting really good at running (oh no!) Ethan’s favorite past times include: eating snacks from his snack cup, drinking milk, building with Mega Blocks, throwing toys for Reggie, taking a bath, being tickled, reading books with Mommy and Daddy, driving in the car, grocery shopping, playing on the swings, huggie Ralphie, pushing his Mega Blocks truck, and eating pizza. Ethan is such a smart little guy! He can do simple shape sorters, build anything made out of blocks, follows commands such as “Give the toy to Daddy”, and he can figure out the proper order to arrange nesting cups.
He is not currently saying any words, BUT he does do several signs: Milk, More, Eat, All Done
Ethan has a new Occupational Therapist named Nicole and she is so fantastic! He seems to be making some real progress with her. We are currently in the process of getting him a speech therapist, as well, due to his delay in that area. I hope it can happen soon! Also, it could be several more months, but he will be going for a full evaluation at a Developmental Pediatrician. They will screen him for everything possible, so hopefully we come up with some answers. I will keep everyone posted on that front.
