Powder Room Redo: In Progress

If you follow me on Facebook, you have probably already seen that we are in the midst of a {much needed} powder room redo.

A few months ago, Cutting Edge Stencils sent me a stencil to use and I decided it would be fantastic for our powder room.  I am sure most of you remember our living room redo, right?  Well, our damask stencil wall in that room was also from Cutting Edge Stencils, so I was already well aware of how awesome they were.

If we hadn’t all been sick for several weeks, this process would have gone much smoother.  We are in the processing of finishing up the trims, touch ups, and decor and the reveal will be on Monday….

along with a Giveaway!
That is right….one of you will get to win a stencil of your own!
There are tons of choices and many are geared towards beginners.  Seriously, awesome, right?

So, here is where we were the last time I took a photo:
Not too shabby, considering this is what I started with:
(the green walls were from the previous owners and we added the white bead board and trim when we first moved in.
Super nice, but totally not my style…. oh, and the ceiling was also dark green… not sure why they thought that was a good idea???)
(oh…. pps…. they also had a really rad border that we tore down before we even signed the contract…
sucks that I didn’t get a pic of it!)

I have had lots of help doing this project since it required tons and tons of priming (thanks Garrett!)  I have been spending tons of my extra time working on this and I am definitely tired and ready to move onto another room.  The flooring, cabinet, and countertop haven’t been touched {money, money, money…}, but everything else has been transformed and I can’t wait to show the final result!

Yesterday, both my kids were at school and I put on my painting pants.  That seriously means business.

It looks great! I bet it’s a lot easier this time doing a powder room instead of a living room wall. I can’t wait to see it finished!
