Pumpkin Picking 2010

We love this time of year! The cool weather, wonderful fall colors, and of course, pumpkin picking time!!! Remember last year? Well, things were much more relaxed and fun this year because Ainsley is finally, well ALMOST, sleeping through the night. Last year was rough, to say the least, so we were very excited to get out to the farms and run through the fields this year!

We went to a different farm this year because we found one that offers corn and hay bale mazes, hayrides, playgrounds, and pumpkin picking. So fun and we will definitely return again next year!

Here we are lost in the corn maze:

Ethan, scratching his head, trying to figure out which way to go:

Looks like he figured it out and is now leading the way:

Once we finished the corn maze, we tackled the hay bale maze (and by the way, I fractured my darned foot in that very corn maze. Yes, I seriously fractured my foot on a piece of loose corn. I ended up in the hospital that night. lol):

Garrett scared Ainsley in the maze:

Even my parents, Grandpa Rog and Emmy came along for the trip:

Really cool play area:

It was a beautiful day:

Ainsley was very worried about being on a truck full of pumpkins:

So, another wonderful year of pumpkin picking and such great memories. Both kids had a total blast and even though I ended up in the hospital with crutches, we will return next year 🙂
