Ainsley’s Nursery!

We have been working on Ainsley’s nursery and it is finally just about finished! There are a few finishing touches that we need to add, but for the most part, it is ready for a baby!

A big thank you to my parents, Nonie and Roger, for buying us the beautiful crib and the mattress. We really appreciate it! It’s funny, even though we already have a child, we needed to purchase everything again. Ethan is still using all his things, so we literally had to get double of all necessities… changing table, crib, sheets, glider, cloth diapers, etc. You would think having it be our second child that it would be a lot cheaper. Not so much.

The camera quality isn’t the best, so it’s hard to see that it says “Ainsley” above the crib. We had the letters custom made to match her bedding. In person, they are adorable.

Here is a close-up of her adorable letters:

The crib and bedding that she probably won’t use for quite a while:

The changing table and the shelves above it:

I sewed the basket liners:

I made the pillow, basket liners, lamp shade cover, and the night light:

Her closet is stocked for at least the first 3 months. Again, we had to buy all new clothes because Ethan’s are all blue!

Nice work, Hayley! Isn’t it crazy how as soon as you find out that it’s a girl, suddenly everything is pink! It totally sucks you in! 🙂
