19 Months Old! Wow!

I really cannot believe that Ethan is 19 months old today. Time really does fly by and it makes you realize how precious every moment is.

Here is what Ethan has been up to:

-Has 12 teeth (we think… he bites our fingers when we try to investigate) We are waiting on the 4 canines and the 2 year molars. Perhaps he has more that we are unaware of.

-He weighs 24 pounds and is almost 34 inches tall.

-He runs away from us like a champ.

-The babbling has been getting more and more consistent every day, much to our relief. We are still waiting for a word, any word, but we know it will come soon. The only “word” he says all the time is “Bob”. We don’t know who Bob is.

-His favorite activities include putting objects into a container and then taking them out, throwing a ball for Reggie, playing “Hide and Seek” with us (well, we hide and he seeks), stacking his Mega Blocks, reading books, and giving hugs to his parents.

-Ethan still gets therapy several times a week and it is going really well. They are really impressed by his improvements with eye contact and his social skills.

We are very happy with how Ethan is progressing. He learns new things all the time and we know that one of these days he will catch up.

I will upload some pictures later of our recent outings.

Seems to me last time I saw Ethan, he was doing really well. I doubt he has much catching up to do! Can’t wait to see all of you – it’s been too long!
