Dutch Wonderland

Oh My Goodness! We had such a blast today!!!!

We (Garrett, Hayley, and Ethan) went to Dutch Wonderland today. Dutch Wonderland is an amusement park specifically made for the younger crowd, meaning no loop-de-loop roller coasters, no mind-bending/gravity-defying spinny machines. Just good ole fun!!

There are trains to ride, cars to steer, ferris wheels to sit upon. Even a waterpark!

We left fairly close to Ethan’s normal naptime and he slept for most of the 45 minute drive. When we arrived to the Wonderland we lathered him up with sunscreen, laid out some Cheerios, and we were on our way.

First stop…Monster Trucks! Of course, we took pictures, only to have the damn camera erase them later down the road. Trust me, it was a good time!

Next stop…Boat Ride around the lagoon! Yeah, the God Damned camera erased those as well. We saw magical horses, giant swans, and lots of bugs.

Eating time!!! Yum. Expensive.

Up Next… Dozers! Ethan went on his first “Big boy ride all by himself. He sat in these stupid bulldozers for several minutes as they went around and around at a snail’s pace. He kind of looked at us like “What the heck am I supposed to do with this?”

Scary Ride Up Next… So, leave it to Garrett to take him on the most terrifying ride EVER! Haha. Ethan was NOT amused. (Seriously, though…who takes a ONE YEAR OLD on a ride called “Crazy Plane”???)

Water Park time!!!!!
We headed over to the awesome water park, but of course I couldn’t take my camera considering the massive amounts of water spurting everywhere. I am telling you, though, it was fun! Ethan really enjoyed most of it, especially the water shooting up from the ground. Talk about fun! Here are a few pictures from after…

Okay, so we thought we would end the day with a nostalgic visit to the Merry-Go-Round/Carousel because that always makes a great picture, right??? Well, not in our situation. HAHA. He hated it! Who knew that a Merry-Go-Round could go that fast? Here are some pictures of me (Hayley) trying to hold on to Ethan for dear life!
Here is how our day ended…
Leaving Dutch Wonderland…

Looks like you guys had a ton of fun at Dutch Wonderland. We are visiting a friend in Milford, PA in a few weeks. Is the park geared for a particular age group? Thanks- Kim
