I’m sure you have seen my new Color me fabric that just came out! In case you haven’t, lets take a look!dc7223_blackdc7221_black dc7157_white dc7156_white dc7155_white_1

All five are available in both the black and white background. I love the different looks!  You can see the rest of the designs on the Michael Miller website HERE.

I sent out some fabric to a few of my blogger friends so they could play with it. Here are the first of many! We are going to visit Connected By a Thread, Pattern Revolution, Falafel & the Bee, and Beatnik kids.

Larissa from Connected by a Thread sewed up a purse with the floral on a black background. I love the pop of yellow in the lining! You can read more about her purse on her blog.

Next, we have Pattern Revolution. I sent fabric to 2 of their reviewers, Suzanne and Serena, and I am blown away by what they came up with! Serena sewed up 2 beautiful circle skirts and it looks like her daughter had a blast coloring them!

Suzanne took a different approach and dyed her owl fabric an olive green to sew up a new shirt for one of her boys! I love how it gives a completely different look to the fabric!

Next up is Falafel & the Bee. She sewed not 1 but 3 items from her butterfly fabric! She sewed an adorable heart bag, a tote bag, and a zip pouch! She can really stretch a yard of fabric! I love everythign she sewed up, but the zip pouch! The watercolor effect is awesome! She blogged about each one separately, here, here, and here!

Finally today, we have Beatnik kids! She decided that she needed some new PJ pants! I love the owl fabric! They look so comfortable! They make me want to sew some up for myself! She even wrote out a tutorial on how to use your favorite pair as a template to sew your new pants! you can read her tips and tutorial on her blog.
