The Clara Dress: Filles a Maman Patterns

There is a lovely new pattern that I had the pleasure of trying out… The Clara Dress is a sweet design by the new Filles a Mama Patterns.  Melanie is the lady behind the new pattern line and she is really deserving of the success that will surely come her way!
Because Ainsley already has a ton of dresses, I chose to shorten it to a shirt length so that I could pair it with leggings and a cardigan.
The Clara Dress features a unique yoke front with simple gathers. The entire top took me about 1.5 hours to complete between printing, cutting, and sewing.
The dress has the option of short or long sleeves and also an optional ruffle.  I love options!
Because it buttons up the back, there is no need to fear zippers!
Go over to her etsy shop to see this pattern and the others that she has available.  I can’t wait to make more of these dresses!
