Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!
We had such a fantastic day today and I hope everyone else did too! Ethan still didn’t understand that Christmas is a big deal, but it was so fun for us to see him get his new toys!
We woke up to a leisurely Sausage and Egg Casserole breakfast with a side of bacon. Nice and healthy. We followed with lots of coffee and watching Ethan open presents. Well, he didn’t really open any presents, he actually watched us while we opened them all for him. Toys were exciting for him, clothes were totally boring and he pushed them away. Haha.
Later in the day, Grammy (Garrett’s Mom) came and brought us all some awesome presents. Thanks, Grammy! My Dad also came to our house during the day and we all had a great time. My mum, Emmy, is on vacation right now and we can’t wait until she gets back. Grandpa Gil (Garrett’s Dad) will be showing up tomorrow and that should be a blast!
Garrett and I made a fantastic dinner of a baked whole chicken with a brown sugar glaze, yellow potatoes, gravy, stuffing, broccoli, and monkey bread for dessert! Guess what Ethan ate…. Bananas, applesauce, and crackers! What a surprise!
