Happy Birthday, Garrett!
Yay! Garrett is 28 years old today!!! Happy Birthday!
He had a great few days… we went out to dinner with his entire family and my mother last night. It was fanstastic to get everyone together and enjoy a meal. Ethan was such a good boy during the whole dinner.
My mum stayed over our house last night to watch Ethan, while Garrett and I went out to a few bars to celebrate his big day! Thanks, Mum!
Garrett got to sleep in today, had a big egg breakfast prepared for him by my mum, and then he had an afternoon of “freedom” (i.e. getting his work done in peace). He ate several pieces of the cake I made for him (yum!) and we went shopping for a new pair of shoes for work. He looks rather dapper in his new digs.
Now, we are settling in to watch the Eagles game (I am only pretending to watch… He totally knows that I could care less:)
