First Words!
We are so excited! Ethan has two “official” first words.
First one is “Dog Dog” which translates into “Doggie”. Months and months ago, he had said “Eggie” referring to our dog Reggie, but he stopped saying it. Then, we went on our vacation to Myrtle Beach and he just suddenly started saying “Dog Dog” directed to Marco, the dog that lived where we were staying. Ethan stopped saying that once we got home, though. I guess he wasn’t all that impressed with Reggie and didn’t feel the need to address her. However, starting yesterday, he officially calls Reggie “Dog Dog”!!!!! How exciting! He will go up to Reggie, wave at her, try to grab her tail, and say “Dog Dog”. Go Ethan!
The second official word is “Ub”, which loosely means “Up”. When he is on the ground and wants to be picked up, he will lift his arms up and say “Ub!” So cute!
What a smart little dude!
Now, if the kid would just say “Mama” everything would be good!
