DIY Wrapping Paper and Gift Tag Printables

All month long, Emily from Nap-Time Creations is going to be featuring multiple bloggers a day for her Crafty Christmas series and I am up today with super cute (and easy) DIY wrapping paper… and FREE gift tag printables!

When I want my gift wrapping to be extra special, I gather my arts and crafts supplies and get to work!
Creating these unique wrapped gifts didn’t take long at all, and even better, it didn’t cost me anything because I had all of the supplies on hand.  Score!
For my wrapping papers, I used craft items I already had on hand:

*my FREE gift tag printables (download HERE)
*roll of brown kraft paper
*various ribbons
*burlap
*raffia
*gold paint
*glitter
*stamps and ink pads

cute tags, right?
I got the kids involved and we stamped away…
…swirled some paint…
…and sprinkled some glitter… okay, LOTS of glitter.
Wait for the paints and stampings to dry and start wrapping.
Use your creativity to create unique looks for each package.
This one has an earthy vibe with the burlap, rough green ribbon, and raffia.
This one has more of a simple, traditional feel with some holly ribbon tied in a knot and topped off with a special ornament.
The glitter one was, of course, the favorite to make… just be ready to encounter glitter in your house for the rest of your lives.
The hand stamped trees are the perfect project for kids.  Dress it up a bit with a pretty gold ribbon cinched with a tag.
My personal favorite is the one hand stamped with french verses.  I wrapped it with gold ribbon and then another layer of smaller green ribbon.  I added an ornament for a personal touch.
These were so fun to make and really gets the family involved with the gift giving.

Thanks for including me in your fun series Emily!
Be sure to check out all of the other bloggers that are a part of The Crafty Christmas over at Nap-time Creations.
