Today marks 8 years of marriage for me and my husband Garrett.
Almost 10 years ago, we got engaged and we had no idea what was ahead of us, but we knew that we wanted to experience it all together. We have since moved (too many times), finished college, gotten our first jobs, bought 2 houses, raised a pug, been in hospitals (too many times), travelled, redecorated (Garrett would say too many times), and then decided to have the two most wonderful children in the whole wide world. I am so happy that I got to do all of that with my best friend.
Every once in a while, I take out the wedding album and I find the paper where Garrett wrote his vows for our ceremony and it makes my heart melt.
And then I also look at this picture and I laugh.
We are perfect together.
