Spring Bird: Hand Embroidery Pattern and Tutorial

I am very excited to announce that I am officially a 2013 contributor over at Sew Mama Sew!

Yesterday was my first post.  Go check out my hand embroidery pattern and tutorial for this cute little spring birdie and banner design

The hand embroidery was done on an outfit I recently sewed for Ainsley.  Perfect for spring, don’t you think?
If you want to attempt some hand embroidery for the first time, I promise that the pattern is super easy! Go check it out HERE

Adorable! If you don’t mind me asking, are the pants a self drafted pattern or one I can find somewhere? They are gorgeous and I’d love to attempt to make them, and maybe put the cute little bird embroidered on them! 🙂

Just wanted to let you know that my entry in the photo pool this week, Pizza and Kitty, is partly inspired by the kitty outfit you did for Ainsley last time on PR&P. Becka saw it at the time and said, “Mom, I NEED a kitty outfit too” so finally here it is! Thanks!

You did a great job on the embroidery. I love the way it looks on little people clothes, I just never think of doing it myself. Probably because I sew with a lot of patterned fabric.
