Family Room Inspiration

Remember the debacle with our family room where I sold every single item in the space including our sofa?

Well, it gets even better.  The other day, we decided (and by WE, I mean ME) to change up the design of the sectional a wee bit…. and that small, itty bitty change somehow caused the delivery date to be pushed back another 2-3 weeks.  So, yep.  We are still without seating and it will be that way until at least late March.  Awesome.

In the meantime, we are slowly deciding how we want the space to eventually look…. you know, in 10 weeks or so when we can finally sit on a sofa again.  

Here is the plan I have so far.

The only things that are definite about the room is the sectional and the tv unit.  We bought a bunch of cabinets from IKEA and we will be trimming them out to give a "built-in" look.  Love!

Everything else is still in the deciding stage.

So, there you have it.  My virtual sofa that has caused quite a few issues thus far.  Once that sofa arrives, you better believe that I am going to kiss it and snuggle it for a little while.
