Remember forever ago when I said I was working on Ainsley's "shabby chic" bedroom? (see the Before pictures HERE)
Other than finding pictures to put inside the frames, the room is finally finished! Phew.
View from the doorway
I made the canopy over her bed a few years ago and it is still holding up, just missing a few tissue poms ;)

Above her bed are the vintage inspired paper doll artwork that I made several months ago (read more about those HERE)
Bedding is from Target
Hung on the adjacent wall is a plate rack. Yes, a plate rack that I found for $8 on Craigslist…. perfect spot to store books within her reach!
Above the plate rack is a rag tie garland I made a few days ago out of adorable fabrics I happened to have in my stash
To the left of the plate rack is a tall skinny corner bookshelf, which holds even more books along with some keepsake items
On the other side of her bed, she has a pedestal table from Home Goods with some (empty) frames and a cute metal birdhouse found at Goodwill
Above the pedestal table is a shelf to display some of her collections
In the other corner is the reading chair that I refurbished for her last year. Remember that old ugly chair? Read more about that transformation HERE
Chair is from Goodwill, the lamp is from Target, the table was painted by me years ago
On the other side of the chair is the dresser and closet
The shelf above the dresser holds some more keepsake items and another empty frame that we need to fill
I am so happy with how it turned out and more importantly, Ainsley absolutely loves her room!
