My New Kitchen Faucet!

I have been desperately wanting to install a new kitchen faucet for two reasons.  For starters, the old one was leaking at random time below the sink, causing quite a mess.  More importantly, I just wanted to get my kitchen renovation kick started and what better way than to upgrade something we use ALL.THE.TIME?!

So, we went from this:
To this:
All it took was my lovely husband and my hard-working father and a little bit of this:
And a little bit of this:
More of this:
And even a little bit of this propane?!  (I made sure to put out the fire extinguisher, just in case:)
I am very happy with my new faucet, but it doesn’t clean the dishes on it’s own.  It didn’t tell me that in the description!  What a rip off!
Now, if only I could find the time to do the rest of the kitchen!

Love the new faucet! We also need to re-do our kitchen…..now to find the time and extra money to do it the way I want to do it.

I have that same (old) faucet. I loathe it. But, if we’re going to get a new faucet, we’re going to get a new sink. And if we get a new sink, we’re getting new countertops. And if we get new countertops, we’re getting new cupboards. And if we’re getting new cupboards, we’re FIXING THIS DARN KITCHEN. So, no new faucet. Yet.

    Enjoy your new faucet. 🙂

Good thing they both know how to install a faucet! It is quite surprising that you didn’t opt to ask for help from an expert. Well, I bet you didn’t have to! I like the faucet’s design, btw. Where did you buy that?

Well, there are only two options when you have a leaky faucet, repair it or buy a new one. 😛 Congratulations on your new faucet, Hayley. Black symbolizes self control and resilience – oh, I guess it has some relevance to your story. 🙂
