Hot Artichoke Dip Recipe

Oh yum!  I have been making this dip for years and I come back to it every year during football season.  (I cannot stand watching football, but Garrett LOVES it and I know he likes this dip, so I cope with football season by making extra yummy treats 🙂

I adapted this recipe from one I had found in an old Betty Crocker cookbook (that I have since misplaced).

Enjoy!

Hot Artichoke Dip

1 can of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1 packet of Onion Dip Mix
2 cloves of garlic (I love garlic, but you can reduce this if you want)
8 ounces sour cream
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesean cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 350*
  2. Mix all ingredients into a 2 quart casserole dish.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes
  4. After baking, place under broiler for about 3-5 minutes to give it a nice, golden brown top.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, wheat thins, veggies (carrot sticks, tomatoes, broccoli, etc)

Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving! WIll you be serving this for appetizers?
