Faux Roman Shades in Family Room

We have been SO busy lately!  Etsy orders, putting up board and batten in our dining room (more on that next week!), getting ready for Ainsley’s birthday party, etc etc etc.  Here are a few quick photos of our family room…. surprisingly, I don’t know if I have ever shown pictures of our whole family room?  I recently made some quick curtain panels and some faux roman shades for the windows in there, which probably won’t stay permanently, but they are good for now.  The reason I made them “faux” is because, well, I am lazy and I was too busy to do it the real way!  Plus, we didn’t really need them to be movable…. okay, that is just my excuse.  Moving on.  Here are some pictures!

Um, please excuse the fact that they still need to be ironed.  I will most likely never get around to doing that.

And the other view of our family room, just for fun.  Really need new pillows for the couch.  That is on my to-do list.

AND little old me, wielding a nail gun in our dining room.  Board and batten and trim…. hope to finish that this week!
