Corner Cabinet Re-do

Here is the original corner cupboard I bought off Craigslist for $75:

Nothing terribly wrong with it, but it absolutely needed a good paint job, some updated hardware and a little TLC.   That is where I came in 🙂

I LOVE to redo furniture.  It is an illness of mine.  I can never leave well enough alone.

A quart of oil based KILZ primer, a quart of a creamy latex based paint, a few sprays of Oil Rubbed Bronze spraypaint,  and a few glasses of wine later, I had this:

sprayed the original knobs
quickly spray painted all the hinges (took them off the doors first!)
The freshly painted cabinet now lives in our living room!
All decorated and gussied up

So, there is our “new” cabinet!  It honestly only took me a few hours.  Let me know if you would like the details and I can walk you through a DIY painting session.  I don’t know if anyone noticed, but the cabinet was originally in our dining room and now it is in our living room.  We have decided to take a new direction without dining room!

Here is a “sneak peek”!  I plan to do a freee tutorial of sorts with the curtains!
