The Master Bedroom

I am not loving our Master Bedroom right now.   Nothing seems to work together, but we do our best to use what we have to make it somewhat okay.

We already owned the furniture and the bedding.  So we bought coordintating curtains and pillows from Pier One Imports.  We also painted the walls Sherwin Williams “Comfort Gray”…. It was a little more blue than I had anticipated and I will probably repaint in the near future (don’t tell Garrett!)

Our plan is to remove the awful 1998 Television from our dresser and put a large mirror.  We are doing that next weeked, so I will definitely post pictures!

This weird area of our bedroom will eventually have a seating area with a small table.  It is such an awkwardly shaped room and we don’t know what else to do with it!!!

I bought 4 of these frames:

 I cut some paper:

I put the cut paper in the frames:

 Brought out my Cricut machine:

Made some letter art for each of the frames.  My camera isn’t the greatest and I am sure you can’t see it, but it says “LOVE”.  This is now hung above our bed.  I will post pictures of the “after” soon.  I am pleased with how it came out, but eventally, I want to do sillhouettes of the whole family and put them above our bed.  I think that would be pretty darn cool.

KDW, I didn’t see a way to respond to you directly, so hopefully you check back!

The paint color is Sherwin Williams Comfort Grey (obviously, it isn’t gray, haha). It is a green/blue color that we love

We have recently updated our room, but kept the same color:

    Hope that helps!
