The Kids’ Bathroom

We finally got around to fixing up the kids’ bathroom. While it’s currently adorable and fun, it won’t stay like this forever because we eventually want to have a bathroom for overnight guests to use without feeling like they are 5 years old. However, our kids love it and that is the main thing.

The previous owner of this bathroom was a teenage boy, so you can only imagine the cleaning and scrubbing that had to take place before we would allow our children to even set foot in there. YUCK. We still need to replace the shower/tub combo, but bleach does wonders in the mean time.

Here is the view from the door:
We painted the walls using the same color as our laundry room

I am not usually a huge fan of jungle themed items, but I found everything for a really good price and it is cute for the kids:

Aren’t the animal decals so cute? Ethan loves to point at them and tell us what each animal is. We have them hidden everywhere….behind doors, above doors, inside the shower, etc. So fun!

So, one day I get will get my dream guest bathroom with sophisticated towels for guests, but for now the jungle works for us 🙂
