Bye-Bye Stimulus Check!

We were so excited yesterday when we got the mail.

Sitting right on top of the letter pile was the good-ole stimulus check from the government that we have been so patiently waiting for. Free money! Woo Hoo! It was so relieving to see such a big check, especially when we need it pretty badly.

BUT, you know how the government works. The excitement lasted only until we proceeded to open the next letter. Do you know what it was?

It was our stupid, ridiculously expensive property taxes. Are you kidding me?

So, long story short, our stimulus check only lasted for two minutes. It’s now gone forever. It only covered a portion of our property tax bill.

Ironically, all that money is heading right back to the government. We enjoyed it while it lasted:)
